Context of the Project
The senior thesis is a research-driven design course focusing on the neighborhood of Franklinton, just outside of downtown Columbus Ohio. I researched the community before finding a topic that resonated with my values. One statistic that stood out to me was Franklinton's high infant mortality rates, and I immediately knew that I wanted to create a space that builds a community for the mothers in Franklinton.
Design Philosophy
I was asked to create vision boards that reflect my values for the first assignment. This is meant to amplify the connection and alignment between my personal and professional values.
